Genelle Treaster is a self-diagnosed biophiliac.
Ever since a small bird landed on her shoulder while playing in a Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta pear orchard, she has been fascinated with all wild species and places. She has and
continues to work both professionally and as a private citizen to promote ecological conservation. Treaster, a Sacramento native, opened All Things Wild in
March, 2006, in order to provide ecologically progressive people with a
native plant resource as well as with advice on and planning for
