Wild News
All Things Wild is located in the Cosumnes River Basin of Sacramento County. The area hosts significant ecological resources, from the last unregulated river on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada range to the bounty of birds, including warblers, water birds, raptors and sandhill cranes, using the Pacific Flyway. From mountain lions and golden eagles to giant garter snakes and pocket gophers, currently the area contains a healthy ecosystem. Yet suburban encroachment, habitat loss and apathy continue to threaten to area’s wild lands and species.
